TRICARE Program for United States' Military

One of the many and important veterans benefits is the TRICARE program. This program is given to Retirees, Reservists, Active Duty personnel & Guard members called to Active Duty, and the members of their families. TRICARE offers three (3) basic programs that United States armed forces' member can take advantage of. Such programs are TRICARE Prime, Extra and Standard.

TRICARE Prime automatically entitles active military personnel and their family members and has no balance billing. On the other hand, TRICARE Extra has annual charge but no deductions when used in retail pharmacy group while the TRICARE Standard has the widest options of providers and is widely available. The three TRICARE programs have no enrollment charge.
