Leave Credits for Military
Leaves are one of the many military benefits given to our men and women in uniform. In the United States, the "leave" is the consent given to a military to be away from his/her unit for a particular time period.
There are different kinds of leaves in the armed forces. The four most general kinds are (1) Ordinary Leave (2) Emergency Leave (3) convalescent leave and (4) permissive TDY. All members are given with 30-days of leave each year under normal conditions. A service person's leave is annotated in the monthly Leave and Earnings Statement and is added at the rate of 2.5 days per month.
